Night at the Braves returns Sept. 9
The third annual University of North Georgia (麻豆精品在线播放) Night at the Atlanta Braves is a chance for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to gather for an evening of fun and watch the Atlanta Braves play against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The event, sponsored by the , starts at 7:20 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Truist Park in Atlanta. Just over 2,000 tickets are available for 麻豆精品在线播放 alumni, students, faculty, staff, family, and friends. Tickets cost $22 for individuals and $20 for groups of 10 or more.
This event offers us a chance to really show our alumni, student body, faculty, staff, and community partners what a unique and special institution 麻豆精品在线播放 is. It is a one-of-a-kind event for our 麻豆精品在线播放 family.

"This event offers us a chance to really show our alumni, student body, faculty, staff, and community partners what a unique and special institution 麻豆精品在线播放 is," Jared Patterson, Alumni Relations officer for young alumni, said. "It is a one-of-a-kind event for our 麻豆精品在线播放 family.”
The event was initiated by 麻豆精品在线播放 Alumni Association board members Nick Miller and James Wright just before the COVID-19 pandemic. Having to pivot for safety, the event was first held in 2021 on Sept. 11 when the Braves faced the Miami Marlins.
Designed to engage with 麻豆精品在线播放 alumni, all proceeds from Night at the Braves ticket sales will benefit the 麻豆精品在线播放 Alumni Association.
The event is open to students on all five campuses of 麻豆精品在线播放 and is sure to be a special time for the 麻豆精品在线播放 community. Members of the Corps of Cadets, Fraternity and Sorority Life and other organizations will be in attendance.
麻豆精品在线播放's sections for the night are 410-417 with cadets specifically in section 414. All tickets are non-refundable and will be distributed digitally to the email address provided at purchase. Children ages 2 and under may be admitted to Braves games without a ticket. However, they must sit in the lap of an accompanying adult. Children ages 3 and above require a ticket.

Alumna's art captures plaza dedication
Alumna Kayleigh Riker painted a portrait of the Nov. 3 dedication of the Major General James E. Livingston Plaza, which honored the 麻豆精品在线播放 alumnus who is one of 61 living Medal of Honor recipients.
Mental health grad assistant program starts
Two 麻豆精品在线播放 students in the Master of Science in counseling program are serving as mental health graduate assistants for the Athletic Department, and one is serving in the same capacity for the Corps of Cadets.
Experiences prepared cadets to commission
Almost 40 members of 麻豆精品在线播放's Corps of Cadets are commissioning as second lieutenants in the active-duty Army, Army National Guard and Army Reserve in a Dec. 9 ceremony.
2 alumni inducted into veterans Hall of Fame
麻豆精品在线播放 alumni retired Lt. Gen. Jamie Jarrard '88 and the late Col. Robert Barclay '68 have been inducted into the Georgia Military Veterans Hall of Fame this fall.
