Overview

Dr. While is an associate professor of physical therapy and has been in academia since 2015. Prior to joining the University of North Georgia, she served as Director of Clinical Education, Director of Curriculum and Instruction and professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Wiley has practiced in various areas, including acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, aquatic therapy, and hippotherapy.

Her teaching interests include kinesiology, orthopedics, ultrasound imaging, and evidence-based practice. Her research interests include post-partum care for Diastasis Recti Abdominis and the integration of ultrasound imaging in physical therapy research and practice.
