Changing Faces in PSIA
A hearty “WELCOME” to the three most recent additions to our faculty ranks -- Drs. Ronnie Grant, T.J. Liguori and Michael Westberg.
Ronnie comes to us direct from Florida International University, where he received his Ph.D. in International Relations (IR) in 2024. In addition to his IR doctorate, Ronnie holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Puerto Rico. He joins our International Affairs program and will be sharing his expertise with undergraduate students primarily in the fields of International Law and everyone’s favorite -- International Political Economy
T.J. arrives at 麻豆精品在线播放 from an extended stint in the undergraduate classroom at his alma mater, Florida International University. Dr. Liguori completed his doctoral work at FIU in International Relations in 2020 and was appointed the Khalid and Diana Mirza Visiting Postdoctoral Associate in FIU’s Department of Politics and International Relations the following fall. His expertise in political theory and the South Asian region is a welcome addition to our International Affairs program.
Michael adds his expertise to our Political Science program on our Oconee campus. Having grown up and spent most of his adult life in the greater Atlanta area, including receiving both his M.A. and his PH.D. in Political Science from Georgia State University, he is already well-acquainted with 麻豆精品在线播放 and the high-caliber students in PSIA.
While saying “hello” to Ronnie, T.J. and Michael, we unfortunately are forced to say “goodbye” to Dr. Elliot Montagano. Those of you who got to know Dr. Montagano over the past several years, particularly those of you in our political science program, know what a wealth of experience he brought to the classroom. Though we will miss Elliot, we wish him all the best as he heads out on the next phase of his professional life.
